## Overview
We are seeking a skilled push boat operator/captain to join our team. The ideal candidate must have prior boat handling experience.
Employees will be working in the Carraizo Reservoir dredging project. Operator will be responsible for the movement of barges and equipment along several miles of dredging site. Overtime paid at time and a half (x1.5).
Operator will be paid weekly.
## Duties
- Operate pushboat and maneuver while pushing barges.
- Verify and record transmission oil levels, engine oil levels, coolant levels, hydraulic fluid levels, and fuel levels daily.
- Log vessel movements in the pushboat log book.
- Report any maintenance issues to the maintenance team so that they are addressed in a timely manner.
## Qualifications
-USCG 100 ton License
-Drivers License
-Means of Transportation
-Drug test (DOT/NIDA)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Police Record (Certificado antecedentes penales)
- Hands on mechanical experience is a plus
- Experience with Detroit Diesel 8V71 engines is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 84 per week
