*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in various accounting software.
*Duties*
- Manage all aspects of financial recordkeeping using double-entry bookkeeping methods
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, statements, and records
- Perform account analysis and reconciliations
- Utilize QuickBooks accounting software for data entry and financial tasks
- Execute journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Apply technical accounting knowledge to support financial operations
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
*Skills*
- Proficient in Puerto Rico governmental accounting practices
- Solid understanding of accounting principles including double-entry bookkeeping
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar acconting softwares
- Ability to perform account analysis efficiently
- Knowledge of technical accounting concepts
- Strong skills in journal entries and financial reporting
- Familiarity with various financial concepts
- Account analysis expertise to ensure accuracy and compliance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
