As we continue to take on projects Islandwide, we're seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager candidates to join us in overseeing our upcoming projects.
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Professional Construction Project Managers. Candidates must have backgrounds in Mechanical (BSME) or Electrical (BSEE) engineering and experience in construction, to lead our construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional project management abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Opportunities are Islandwide.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Develop project timelines and budgets and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.
Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed of project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed to achieve project goals.
Implement best practices and strategies to optimize project efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize project disruptions and delays.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical (BSME) or Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
Professional Engineer (PE) license or Associate Engineer (AE) Certificate or Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate.
Proven experience in construction project management, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the construction industry.
PMP certification (preferred but not required).
