**_What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
The Manager, eCommerce build will lead software development teams consists of technical leads, developers, scrum masters. This team will be responsible for delivering quality software solutions that meets product requirements on a multi-year eCommerce modernization program. Ideal candidate for this role should have good understanding of digital technologies and trends, experience leading large software development teams onshore & offshore. This role will be responsible to plan, prioritize, execute software delivery in an agile environment with focus on quality, efficiency.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Provides technical guidance and oversight to the development team. Ensures adherence to best practices in software design, development, testing and deployment.
+ Partners with Product Owners, Project Managers, Technical and Business stakeholders to provide weekly/bi-weekly progress updates. Leads action plans to drive focus, prioritization and manages work for the team to align with the project timelines.
+ Establishes and drives continued focus on improving code quality and governance. Must be well familiar with design patterns, frameworks using APIs, microservices, front end technologies.
+ Partners with business owners, stakeholders in defining product roadmap, plan and prioritize work for the development teams. Maintains healthy backlog for the team.
+ Oversees the solution design, build execution progress and manage processes for the software delivery team with KPI's to measure developer productivity & quality. Ensure appropriate governance processes and check points are in place for design, code reviews meeting CAH standards.
+ Regularly assesses and plans the workload, priorities for the development team. Must have a good understanding project & financial management. Must be flexible to adjust the plans and refine needs (staffing, prioritization ..) aligning to the program priorities.
+ Remains up to date on design and development best practices to meet security, compliance, audit requirements.
+ Partners closely with business, cross functional IT teams to ensure solution meets compliance, security, audit and non-functional requirements. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools - Dynatrace or similar
**_Qualifications_**
+ 8-12 years of total experience, preferred
+ Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with expertise in microservices architecture, Spring Boot, API development, ReactJS or similar and Test-Driven Development, preferred
+ 5+ years of experience managing/leading software development teams both onshore and offshore, preferred
+ Strong understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Prior working experience with GCP is a plus.
+ Strong project management skills, including ability to manage timelines, delivery, quality. Sound understanding of financial management.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor teams, foster collaboration, and build strong client relationships.
+ Certifications in Agile methodologies, Scrum Master, or related fields are preferred

**Anticipated salary range:** $119,800 - $179,655
