Summary:
Serves as the liaison between the executive and IT departments, leveraging the data the IT team extrapolates while also overseeing the selection and implementation of software programs and hardware resources. Responsible for translating business needs to IT solutions, with current programs, projects and initiatives in mind.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in information systems or related business field.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Ohio's Driver's License.
Experience: Two years of experience and/or training preferred. Experience with Agile methodology preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Functions: A: Job Specific: Creates and maintains reports, dashboards and visualizations using Tableau. Performs data analytics and creates reports using SQL. Works on technology business projects to meet specific requirements and define business needs. Defines business architecture and functional design. Creates specifications from which programs will be written, e.g. use cases, sequence diagrams, process flows. Defines product objectives and requirements. Defines specifications and data models for product development and testing. Conducts functional walkthroughs with various stakeholders. Researches and documents Bank needs, technology or regulations related to system design, enhancement and acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications. Analyzes system impacts to other systems and procedures. Devises and/or modifies software processes and design specifications to solve complex technical problems related to payment processing. Writes test plans and test cases to ensure enhancements made to applications meet Bank needs and application integrity is maintained. Conducts a variety of tests such as system testing, user acceptance testing. Conducts tests using Bank data to be certain that Bank needs will be met. Guides the technical team on the functional requirements and debugging as needed. Participates in training personnel on enhancements, and new systems or procedures. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems development life cycles and other modern approaches to software development and conversion methodologies. Advanced knowledge of the tools, techniques and principles used in application development in objective-oriented development or other relevant technology. Strong knowledge of SQL scripting. Strong knowledge of Python scripting. The ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both in verbal and written communications. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of the business area that is being supported. Self-directed and motivated. The ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills. Technical writing. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, technical manuals and memos. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, vendors and management staff. Ability to effectively present information to individuals one-on-one or a small group setting. Ability to articulate technical concepts to end-users.
