Are you ready to make a difference in healthcare? We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong analytical mindset to transform user needs into actionable operational solutions. In this role, you'll dive deep into our systems, driving improvements that enhance program performance and ensure compliance with Medicaid standards. You'll extract and analyze data to support key decisions and work closely with our operations team to define requirements and success factors.
If you have a Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experienceparticularly within Medicaid or healthcare programsthis is your chance to excel in a fast-paced, impactful environment.
***Candidate must reside in the Columbus, OH area*** Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply strong analytical reasoning to understand end user's requirements and transform them into operational applications.
- Acquire deep knowledge of working systems and bring efficient and effective changes for better performance across programs.
- Extract, analyze, and report data to support program activity and assist in management decision making.
- Audit, evaluate, track, and report performance activity for Performance Management and contract compliance purposes (e.g., alignment with the programs service-level agreements,)
- Work closely with operations staff to define requirements, test criteria, and identify success factors.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field. - 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in business analysis, particularly within Medicaid or related healthcare programs.
- Strong understanding of Medicaid policies, regulations, and healthcare systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
