Description
This position will be responsible for Sales Operations and Business analysis for the Worldwide Public Sector Partners team within the Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Sales Operations organization. This will be a pivotal role that enables you to have significant business impact through your direct involvement in monthly and quarterly metrics, modeling, reporting, forecasting, and providing operations support and ensuring data quality.
This position will be responsible for leading formalization of the financial and business reporting for the Global Public Sector Partners team within WWPS. The role will include being a strategic partner to the sales team, owning requirements for various dashboards, and reporting and advising on operational metrics and key performance indicators to support the rapid growth of the AWS public sector business.
The WWPS Sales Operations Lead will work in collaboration and coordination with the Partner sales team they support, including account teams, partner teams, service teams, corporate finance and various other functions. The Operations Lead will lead the formulation of dashboards, reporting and metrics; support Quarterly Business Reviews; help author strategic narratives, and recommend new ways of managing the business that can help accelerate growth.

Key job responsibilities
Manage all aspects of Worldwide Public Sector reporting and analysis ensuring timeliness, completeness and accuracy of reporting
Provide strategic analysis and year/year, quarterly and monthly trend analysis
Help author narratives and provide data insights and analysis for Quarterly Business Reviews
Coordinate with corporate teams to influence roadmap for enhanced business intelligence and CRM tools to support the business
Headcount management, including supporting prioritization of hiring
Own the OP1 annual process including headcount needs, revenue estimates, and coverage strategy
Own annual segmentation and quota setting process
Strategic partner to an SLG/EDU/xTech Sales Leader

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
