A Brief Overview
A Retail Sales Officer is responsible to promote and sell all banking products and service to customers mainly at customer's place of work. Aggressively promote, sell and refer Firstbank products and services. Ensure inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts and other bank related products.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Actively promote, sells and refer product and service to potential customers
Utilize networking with other business areas such as Corporate Business Banking to drive sales
Make cold calls and participate in organized sales events
Work proactively retention of Bank's customers
Spend more than 50% of time working at outside sales events
Performs presentations and proposal preparation as requested
Complies and enforces closing officers unit with related policies, procedures, laws and regulations including but not limited to anti-money laundering, US Patriot Act, Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, fraud protection, security procedures, and privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Prepares progress report
Performs any and all other additional duties as may be assigned.

Language - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Customer service - manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; and responds to requests for service and assistance
Knowledge in Banking laws and regulations; banking (individual and commercial) products and services; Credit policy.

Minimum Performance Standards:
Performs a minimum of 30 visits/cold calls in the month
Close 40 sales during month, among new accounts (new customers) and other bank products
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, but not limited to others.
Two (2) years of Branch Banking related experience selling all banking products and services.
Computer literate in the use of MS Office
Knowledge of banking regulations as Compliance requirements, such as, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act, etc.
Multitask, organized, problem solving, goal oriented and able to work under pressure.
Bilingual (Spanish and English)
Driver License and car in good conditions.
Available to work holidays, weekends and flexible schedules.
