This is your opportunity to join our team and make a difference. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Buyer to join our dynamic team. As a Buyer your main responsibilities are focus on issue purchase orders, inventory management and vendor management.
Responsibilities Summary:
Maintains proper level of goods.
Prevents avoidable stock-outs.
Ensure accuracy of supplier information in Company enterprise systems (e.g. costs)
Execute procurement contracts in accordance with their terms.
Accountable for the accuracy and impact of planning decisions.
Liaison between other departments to coordinate product issues that need resolution.
Monitors purchasing statistics (e.g. fill rate, stable purchases, inventory levels)
Monitor availability news on various vendor and websites/emails, stock levels to help identify potential shortages.
Monitor status of shortages and impending release data to help identify and plan for the event of stock outs based upon use and availability.
Continuous intervention with suppliers to discuss new products, opportunities, scorecards, and any relevant issues impacting the operation.
Attend all required department meetings, orientation, and training sessions.

Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years' experience as buyer of pharma or medical equipment in a hospital setting. Preferably related to the pharmacy products environment.
Completely Bilingual (Spanish and English). Reading ability is to write and speak in both languages at an advanced level.
Strong Computer proficiency: Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Excellent Spreadsheet skills.
Knowledge of State, Federal and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
Availability for in-person work.
