Buyer - Meat Industry

JSR Services is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Buyer to be responsible for selecting, purchasing and negotiate quality meat products for our business. Your responsibilities will include processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, creating and maintaining inventory, quality assurance and liaising with inventory teams and management.
Essential Duties:
Purchase for a full line of manufacturing.
Ensures accurate merchandising inventory control & item purchasing.
Performs replenishment buying.
Negotiates with vendors.
Approves orders for placement with vendors and maintaining deal information.
Manages inventory, turns, service level, and overstock management within budget.
Works with the receiving department to ensure deliver of supplies.
Authorizes payment of invoices or return of merchandise.

Requirements
Qualifications:
4 years experience in the manufacturing industry.
Experience with online computer buying and inventory systems.
Familiarity with SURI.
BA in Administration and/or equivalent business experience.
Require computer skills including AS400, SAP, Excel, and Word. Bilingual.
