A client of Insight Global is looking to bring a drafter onto the team. This person will be using Autocad for day to day responsibilities and needs to have the base knowledge and experience. Estimated pay is 20-22/hr.
Responsibilities:
Utilize AutoCAD for base-mapping, GIS, and layering.
Design and draft for copper, fiber optics, coax, manholes, hand holes, Make-Ready Engineering, and poles.
Work with Outside Plant telecom industry, public right-of-way, and private utilities (water, sewer, electric, gas).
Handle city, county, state, and local municipality permits, traffic control, easements, and environmental permits.
Collaborate with local municipalities, Telco engineers, and construction/maintenance teams.
Interpret CGS, Assessor Maps, map info, AIS, and Construction Prints.
Translate field notes into conduit/cable engineering design drawings.

Experience reading blueprints, conduit prints, and floor plans.
Minimum of 2 years of experience using CAD.
