@Orchard LLC has multiple openings to support a well-established solutions provider within the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure sector for CAD Drafters in Spring Valley, NY. If you are a Drafting professional in the construction or electrical field, our client has an opportunity for you. The period of Performance is 6 Months with potential extension beyond the period depending on the business needs.

Required Skills and Experience: A minimum of 5 to 8 years of related experience with a High School Diploma. Associate's degree preferred. Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit. Understanding of drafting standards and documentation practices. Ability to be precise and create accurate plans that are free of errors. Experience converting concepts into detailed drawings. Ability to communicate with clients via email and phone. Knowledge of construction, engineering, surveying, and design techniques. High preference for applicants with experience working for utility companies or transmission and distribution infrastructure projects. Must be able to commute to the Spring Valley office.
