Calibration Technician – Aibonito

Maintain all plant instruments update and calibrated. Maintain calibration of instruments used in manufacturing and support areas for release purpose. Responsible for data entry in the MAXIMO of all calibrations performed. Maintain updated the Calibration tickler and follow up the overdue instruments. Perform the calibrations of instruments. Provide maintenance to equipment used as standards and verify the certification expiration date prior to use the equipment. Make sure that every calibrated equipment has procedure that describes the calibration method. Perform periodic audits.
Requisitos:
Associate Degree or Technical Degree in Instrumentation or equivalent. At least 1-2 years of experience in calibration related field, preferably in medical devices manufacturing industries. Knowledgeable in mathematics Basic knowledge in weights and measurements, able to use equipment like micrometers, gauges, optical comparator, calipers, manometers, barometers, dead weight testers, etc. Able to communicate effectively and show leadership skills. Must maintain good communication with upper management to prevent or avoid situations affecting the manufacturing process. Knowledge in the use of computer programs like Microsoft Word, Excel and Maximo. Bilingual (Spanish & English) Temporary contract 25647
