The company offers a family-oriented culture and environment!Calibration TechnicianPay and Benefits:Hourly pay: $26/hrWorksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (El Segundo, CA 90245)W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL40 hours/week, 24 Month AssignmentCalibration Technician Responsibilities:Calibrate and perform adjustments on Measurement and Test Equipment, Electronic and/or MechanicalUse test automation platforms and software to calibrate Measurement and Test Equipment.Perform manual calibration procedures on Measurement and Test Equipment.Works on administrative assignments with clearly defined objectives according to prescribed procedures.Communicate with internal teams to request work orders with specific requirements.Communicate with external vendors to request service quotes and status requests.Communicate with customers for issue resolution and response.Physical movement of equipment up to 20 lbs.Solve a broad range of service/ support problems varying in scope and complexity.Qualifications:3+ years relevant experience.2 year technical degree or equivalent training/certification is desired.May require some higher education or specialized training/ certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with database tracking and management systems.Hands-on experience working in a calibration lab required.Solid working knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office applications including Outlook and Excel.Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customersStrong attention to details and organizational skillsRequires complete understanding of general and technical aspects of job.Must maintain the ability to work in a team environment and provide responsive customer service to team members even with constant interruptions.
