WHO YOU ARE Someone who is highly organized Someone who is able to juggle multiple things at once Someone who is reliable and has a "no task too small" attitude Someone who can keep calm under high pressure situations ABOUT THE ROLE To manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.
Manage all monetary exchanges in the restaurant by taking orders and ringing up transactions Serve as a liaison between the customer, the managerial staff and the kitchen staff Keep the front area of the restaurant clean and well stocked Greet all customers politely when they approach the register Records customer orders, transfer orders to the kitchen to ensure their preparation, and monitor orders to ensure their prompt delivery Keep the counter and dining area neat and restock napkins, straws, lids, and other supplies when needed Use DOH checklist at the beginning of each shift to ensure that everything is in compliance QUALIFICATIONS A dedicated, detail-oriented, team player with the ability to work independently Some previous cashier or cash handling position, plus the physical ability to perform job duties Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute assignments Excellent verbal and written communication skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 pounds Must be able to work on your feet as well as stationary for at least 12 hours during events Must be willing to work long shifts, including overnight shifts COMPENSATION The hourly rate for this role is $16
