As a CDL Class A Driver, you will travel throughout our New Jersey service area picking up food donations from retail stores and food distributors and/or making food deliveries to network partners and communities. You will drive safely and defensively, maintain equipment function, and observe all CFBNJ and DOT required safety policies, laws and practices.
What you'll do in your role:
Physically touch freight to organize trailer of food throughout the day. Actively and consistently lifts 50+ pounds of freight (typically boxes of food) at stops throughout day. This is not dock-to-dock sitting-only driving work Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations Keep record of time, mileage, pallets shipped and received, any mechanical problems and general remarks Why you'll love working at CFBNJ: Opportunity for impact: Last year we provided over 90 million nutritious meals across New Jersey and educated over 25,000 people about health and nutrition.
