Residency Program Director Position Details: Program Director will provide oversight and support future growth of the accredited Neurology Residency program. The Program Director will also be expected to maintain a clinical practice (70%). The Program Director will have 30% dedicated time for program-related administrative, educational, strategic, and research initiatives.The Program, a Magnet-designated, Comprehensive Stroke Center serves as the primary site for clinical training.With over 20 years of GME, the program has ten high-quality, fully accredited residency training programs.Clinical practice interests provide opportunity to join a robust, integrated neurosciences service line with strong physician-centered management with support from established Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, Neuroradiology, and Neurosurgical teams.The Neuroscience Institute provides comprehensive services including Vascular Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, and Neuro-interventional services.Faculty appointment, student teaching and research opportunities, and an affiliation with the local university is available through the program's medical school, the nation's first medical school with focus at the intersection of healthcare and engineering.About the area: This beautiful, metropolitan area in East-Central Illinois, has a population of 230K.
