The Chief Development Officer will work closely with the CEO and the Board of Directors to develop and implement a compelling fundraising strategy, manage a talented development team, and cultivate relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including individual, corporate, and institutional donors.The Chief Development Officer will be instrumental in realizing the organization's ambitious growth targets, including a plan to double in size by 2027, and must be adept at balancing day-to-day operations with long-term strategic vision.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of progressive development leadership experience, a strong background in major gift fundraising, and a deep commitment to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Candidates for the Chief Development Officer position at the company must have a minimum of 5 years' experience leading a development department for a large, multi-site philanthropic organization and a proven ability to secure 6- and 7-figure gifts. The role requires a strategic leader with superb communication skills, the ability to manage and inspire a team, and a talent for fostering a culture of philanthropy. The position demands a passionate advocate for the mission, capable of representing the organization with integrity and building strong, lasting relationships with supporters.
