Responsibilities for the CEO include providing strategic vision and organizational leadership, executive management, program operations, financial oversight, and resource development. The successful candidate will work to expand the organization's reach and impact, maintain a human-centered organizational culture, and ensure long-term financial sustainability. They will also be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with partners, key stakeholders, and community leaders, and will serve as the chief spokesperson for the organization.
The ideal CEO will have a proven ability to drive results, build networks, and instill trust. They should be adept at planning and aligning work with organizational goals, and be capable of effectively communicating a compelling vision and strategy. Strong financial acumen, fundraising skills, and the ability to develop strong networks and partnerships, particularly in the Jewish community, are essential. The candidate should be organizationally savvy, experienced in scaling an organization, and leading through change. A background in experiential education is appreciated, and knowledge of the mental health field is a plus.
