The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of experience, with a strong preference for startup and social enterprise experience, and a proven track record of leading organizations to meet measurable goals. They should be deeply committed to the mission, possess strong business and financial acumen, and be adept at fundraising and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities for the CEO include strategic and operational leadership, financial management, fundraising, and board engagement. The successful candidate will be a supportive leader with a transparent and empathetic approach, capable of managing high-pressure situations and fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. Required qualifications include a strong background in business, finance, or economics, and the ability to communicate effectively. The CEO must be based in Texas, with the flexibility to travel, and should ideally have a college degree and experience in the water sector.
