This role demands a leader with a strong background in behavioral health, public health, and management, who can effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and ensure the organization's programs are in alignment with its goals.
Key responsibilities for the CEO include being a highly visible community leader, driving advocacy and revenue generation strategies, and maintaining positive relationships with various agencies and donors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in nonprofit management, leadership, and resource development, as well as experience in working with a Board of Directors. They should possess an educational background that supports the required skills, and a history of fundraising and budget management for organizational growth.
