The CFO will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, driving the organization's financial and operational strategy to support its mission of facilitating the recognition of international education and experience. This role involves overseeing a significant annual revenue, managing fiscal responsibilities in collaboration with the Board of Trustees, and ensuring that the organization's resources are deployed in a mission-aligned manner. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of financial and operations management experience, with a proven track record of strategic leadership, and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities for the CFO include organizational leadership, strategic and financial planning, financial management and oversight, investment management, and system design. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the Executive Leadership Team, adept at formulating financial strategies that support the enterprise's goals. They will also be responsible for managing and developing a team, ensuring a culture of coaching and development, and fostering a healthy organizational culture. The CFO will be expected to have extensive knowledge of financial management systems, experience with investment portfolios, and a strong ability to communicate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A bachelor's degree is required, with advanced degrees or certifications in finance or accounting being highly preferred.
