About the Role The Company is in need of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's financial management and leadership. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including the development and oversight of financial strategies, ensuring compliance with grant and regulatory requirements, and providing financial insight to support the organization's growth. This executive will also be tasked with overseeing all accounting operations, cash flow planning, and the preparation of financial reports. Collaboration with the board of directors and executive leadership is essential, as is the development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures.

Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree and CPA preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a CFO or similar senior financial leadership role, particularly within a nonprofit organization, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit accounting, including fund and grant compliance, and experience with OMB regulations. Proficiency in financial management systems and a proven track record in staff management and strategic financial decision-making are also necessary. The CFO must possess excellent communication skills, be adept at problem-solving, and demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
