About the Role The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the strategic and financial management of the organization. The CFO will work closely with the CEO to provide strategic direction and will be responsible for leading all financial operations, including but not limited to, financial controls, budgeting, tax strategies, audits, and capital structure. This leadership position also involves managing the EVP of Corporate Development and the Controller, ensuring that financial activities are in line with the company's mission and objectives. The ideal candidate for this role will be a strong leader with a passion for sustainable infrastructure development, particularly in the context of the company's focus on holistic water management and positive social impact.
Key responsibilities for the CFO at the company include overseeing the implementation and enhancement of internal controls and financial reporting systems, leading annual and special audits, and monitoring the financial position and compliance. The successful candidate will be expected to have expertise in Excel and financial modeling, a solid understanding of tax strategies and financial compliance, and experience in budget preparation and financial reporting. The role requires a candidate who is willing to invest in the company through equity participation and is committed to a culture of shared success and long-term collaboration. The CFO will also be involved in presenting financial data at Board meetings, participating in Fund GP and LPAC meetings, and will be a key figure in the company's efforts to address global water challenges while delivering value to communities and stakeholders.
