Role Overview:In this newly created role, the Chief Information Officer ("CIO") will report directly to the CEO and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The CIO will make a significant impact by bringing expertise and best practices to leverage technology for continued profitable growth. KLR is financially solid, profitable, and well capitalized. There is a very good diversification of income and risk between the businesses with significant growth opportunities.
Key Priorities Include:Serve as a strategic partner who understands how technology contributes to the business's objectives to scale the Organization.Develop and implement practical, client-focused solutions that streamline processes through the use of AI and other technologies, combined with continual process improvement to enhance both the client (internal & external) experience and financial results (demonstrate ROI on investments), while keeping ahead of the Firm's growth.Support the growth of the Organization through innovation; build, lead, and inspire teams; and work as a collaborative team member to protect and provide the infrastructure to grow the business.Provide ultimate direction in coordinating risk management functions, standardize risk principles, and integrate IT risk assessments into broader organizational strategies. The successful candidate will bring:An experienced executive with a demonstrated performance record in proactively and creatively managing a Technology organization.Professional Services experience and/or experience within a regulated industry is preferred.Strong technical skills and relevant best practices. Exposure to data center operations, infrastructure platforms, cloud environments, enterprise software applications, AI technologies, outsourced systems, system characteristics, integration capabilities, Cybersecurity programs, systems design and development, and/or technology planning is preferred.Proven leadership ability, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to apply technology to business needs and problems.
