About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Information & Technology Officer (CITO) to join its leadership team. The CITO will be responsible for defining and executing the technology vision and roadmap in alignment with business objectives. This includes leading the development of innovative payment processing solutions, keeping the organization abreast of technology advancements in the payment landscape, and ensuring that technology initiatives enhance merchant experiences and maintain a competitive edge. The role also involves overseeing the payment infrastructure and systems, implementing robust cybersecurity measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The CITO will drive product innovation, manage vendor and stakeholder relationships, and lead a team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.

Candidates for the CITO position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or equivalent management qualification being a plus. A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership, particularly in the payments or financial services industry, is required, with a focus on merchant acquiring, payment processing, or fintech. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing secure payment processing platforms, deep knowledge of the payment ecosystem, and expertise in modern payment technologies. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
