About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) or VP Marketing with a strong background in B2C and D2C marketing, particularly in the health, wellness, and nutritional food supplements industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small, high-quality marketing team, both internal and external, and will be instrumental in the company's rebranding and expansion efforts. This is a hands-on role that requires the CMO to be tactical, delivery-focused, and passionate about consumer health, natural ingredients, and sustainable practices. The role involves overseeing the entire sales and marketing strategy, including D2C, 2nd/3rd party, B2B, affiliates, partnerships, online/offline, and PR. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in growing a company within the $5MM - $20M+ revenue range and be prepared to scale the business to $100M+ in the future.
Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have a degree or higher qualification and be adept at data-driven decision-making. Strong leadership, coaching, and team support skills are essential, as is the ability to manage transformational change and major growth. The role requires expertise in digital marketplaces, eCommerce, SEM, performance media acquisition, and email/CRM retention. The CMO will also be deeply involved in growth marketing strategy and must have a hands-on approach when technical support is needed. The company is particularly interested in candidates with a background in consumer goods, supplements, alternative medicine, retail, organics, or wellness, and who have a passion for mission-driven marketing and community building.
