The CMO will be responsible for all clinical and network strategy at the national level, acting as the clinical face of the organization and an industry thought leader in integrated care and behavioral health services. This role involves supporting business development, client retention, product innovation, and network strategy, as well as overseeing the development and execution of clinical policies, utilization management, and medical cost reduction initiatives. The CMO will also be accountable for clinical excellence, innovation, and thought leadership, and will lead the team in embracing integrated care best practices.
Candidates for the CMO position must have a current active unrestricted license to practice medicine, with board certification in psychiatry or a related field preferred. A minimum of 15 years' of clinical experience, including residency and post-graduate practice, is required, along with a proven track record of success in large, complex healthcare organizations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership abilities, a strong background in healthcare quality, and a deep understanding of health plan products. The CMO will be expected to build and nurture strategic alliances, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead the team in supporting client accreditations. The role demands a visionary leader with a forward-thinking approach, capable of driving the organization towards success and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
