The RoleWe are seeking a Chief of Staff to the Founder of Human Agency. This role will work closely with the Founder and executive team, providing strategic and operational support to drive the company's mission forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, project management, and organizational development. This role requires exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a high degree of adaptability.
Responsibilities:Strategic Support: Assist the Founder in developing and executing strategic initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations to drive organizational goals.Managing Up: Oversee scheduling, travel booking, dynamic deliverables, support deck and presentation development, and be comfortable with ad hoc requests.Project Management: Oversee and manage key projects from inception to completion. Ensure alignment with company objectives and timelines.Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency. Foster a culture of continuous improvement.Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison between the Founder and internal/external stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships and ensure effective communication.Research and Analysis: Conduct research and provide analysis on industry trends and potential opportunities for growth.Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, materials, and follow-up actions for meetings.Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion.Who you are:Project Management: Proven experience in managing large-scale projects.Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and dedication to achieving organizational goals.Learning Aptitude: High aptitude for quickly learning new concepts and skills.Mission Alignment: Deep passion for and alignment with the mission and work of Human Agency.Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail combined with effective problem-solving abilities.Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment.Problem-Solving Experience: Proven ability to successfully solve problems and build effective processes.Entrepreneurial Spirit: Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive projects from concept to completion.Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.Client Service Excellence: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Considerations:Ethical Awareness: Commitment to ethical practices and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Experience: 4+ years of experience in strategic planning, project management, or organizational development.Proven track record in a leadership role.Travel: Open to traveling 10-30% of the time, as needed for the role.
Educational Background: Considerations include bachelor's degree, advanced degree, and/or relevant field(s) of study or professional experience.
