About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide strategic leadership and vision, ensuring the implementation of operational controls, administrative processes, and reporting systems that support organizational growth, financial stability, and operational efficiency. The COO will be responsible for collaborating with the CEO to define strategic direction, driving growth, and overseeing governance. This role requires a deep understanding of sales and project cycles in various commercial practice areas, as well as experience in the development of operational controls that align with the company's overall strategy. The successful candidate will also be tasked with fostering an accountable, success-driven environment, and using data to define KPIs and ensure compliance at all levels.
Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in architecture, business administration, or finance, with an MBA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' management experience, including at least 2 years in an executive-level role, is required, along with 3-5 years in an architectural design organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience as an architectural studio or practice leader and/or architectural project manager, and a deep understanding of commercial practice areas. Knowledge of financial databases and project management tools is also necessary. The COO will be expected to lead, develop, and mentor teams, and to work closely with the CFO on financial communication and capital raising.
