Applicants for the Regional Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) position must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' of proven property-casualty underwriting experience in a middle market environment. The role requires the ability to influence and collaborate with senior-level leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving results. The CUO will be expected to have a solid understanding of commercial lines products, financials, and service requirements, and to demonstrate a high degree of business, insurance, and marketplace knowledge. Responsibilities also include overseeing underwriting staff, participating in underwriting audits, and ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
