Civil Drafter

Job Overview
A Civil Drafter prepares detailed drawings and topographical maps used in civil engineering projects such as highways, bridges, pipelines, flood control projects, and water and sewage systems. They work closely with civil engineers to convert designs into technical plans and diagrams.
Responsibilities
Create detailed technical drawings based on specifications provided by engineers and architects
Collaborate with the design team to produce accurate drawings for construction projects
Utilize software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Sketchup, SolidWorks, and Rhinoceros 3D to develop 2D and 3D drawings
Develop schematics and layouts for system designs
Assist in interior design projects by creating visual representations of spaces
Review and modify designs to ensure adherence to project requirements
Qualifications
Education: Associate degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in civil drafting, preferably in infrastructure or public works projects.
Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
Knowledge of topographical mapping, surveying, and field data collection.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
