TalentWealth Recruiting, a boutique recruiting firm focusing on financial services positions, is assisting an independent financial advisory practice in Villa Park, IL in hiring a Client Service Associate (Registered, or non-Registered).
Job Overview The Client Services Associate provides exceptional client service and support to our team of financial advisors and staff. This person is often the first point of contact for clients. This is a key role in demonstrating our team approach which offers personalized attention and the highest level of service throughout our entire investment management and comprehensive financial planning processes.
Summary of Responsibilities Perform a wide variety of administrative, staff & operational support activities (e.g., answer phone, take messages, scan/fax documents, order supplies, process in/out going correspondence & provide exceptional client service).
Onboard new clients and service existing clients.
Process & monitor all client money movement requests (e.g., account opening/closing, deposits, transfers in/out, wires & prepare all associated paperwork/documentation).
Support coordination of client meeting process (e.g., scheduling, meeting preparation & execution of follow up actions).
Coordinate client communications plan, marketing projects & client events (e.g., market letters, mass email & cards/gifts).
Track & monitor compliance related issues & documentation.
Perform duties as notary public.
Qualifications & Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred but not required
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask & work in high-paced environment with attention to detail.
Professional demeanor and appearance that inspires trust & confidence.
Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM programs.
Previous experience in banking, finance or securities/investment industry is desired.
