Clinical Education Specialist Rn

Clinical Education Specialist RN Develop and lead education programs for specialized patient care within clinical protocols using evidenced-based research and national standards Perform as a unit educator by training staff and students and performing clinical instruction on home unit Collaborate with Clinical Educator, Clinical Nurse Specialist, and Unit Director to plan and implement pertinent curricula Monitor trends and implement educational strategies to ensure quality standards and patient safety parameters are achieved Provide safe direct patient care within nursing protocols and assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing 18 months of directly related experience Current New Mexico RN license or RN license recognized by reciprocity by the State of New Mexico CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers Instructor in Unit-Required Certifications within 90 days Instructor in BLS, ACLS, NRP, or other instruct certification preferred Physical Conditions: The ability to lift up to 100 pounds is required. Work may involve exposure to chemicals and biohazardous materials, requiring personal protective equipment.
