Job Description **This is a part time position at 28 hours per week located at Lake Forest Hospital. This role has a schedule of Monday to Thursday. **
The Clinical Instructional Radiology reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards
Responsibilities: Instructs, observes, directs and assists students conducting radiologic exams. Conducts classroom sessions. Coordinates clinical practice at the hospital with academic classes; ensures all instruction and experience is conducted in method consistent with overall college criteria. Gives daily assignments in accordance with program objectives. Supervises the clinical experience; evaluates and provides feedback for the students. Schedules and rotates students through general and specialized areas. Assists with proper positioning and restraining of children and elderly patients, as necessary. Coordinates in-service and continuing education for the technical staff. Provides resource information for patients and families. Functions as a Radiology Tech when not acting as Radiology Clinical Instructor. See job code 303032 for full description.
