The manager is responsible for the leadership of all clinical staff within the clinic and is tasked with leading by example to ensure our mission, vision, and values are met. Provides expert operational oversight and guidance to support prioritization of activities, reviews and monitors work performed, metric compliance, and quality improvements. Coverage for patient care as needed. Acts as front-line support for all areas of clinical operations throughout Denver Eye Surgeons. Have a strong awareness of patient flow issues and ability to maintain efficient clinical flow while quality of care is maintained. Identify areas of concern in efficiency throughout the clinic and work with the clinical supervisors and other departments to resolve these issues. Daily management of clinic support staff schedules to provide the best possible technical coverage on any given day; this includes taking calls and editing shifts due to illness. Has a high degree of business acumen and is an excellent communicator, with strong attention to physician relations, and problem-solving skills. Interviews and assists with selection of candidates for clinical positions. Work with Human Resources Department regarding disciplinary action and recommendation of termination of employees. Complete skill evaluations and coordinates training programs to further staff education. Complete annual performance evaluations of staff members. Participates in the ongoing development of culture by coaching, recognition, collaboration, and employee empowerment. Ensures quality and adherence to Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and compliance with federal and local guidelines. Maintains the goal of providing the highest level of customer service to patients. Ensures confidentiality of medical records and patient information. Maintains adequate stock of office supplies and requisition when needed. Manages and oversees office staff for assigned location. Manages time & labor reporting and time off requests for all direct reports.Other duties as assigned. RequirementsWho You Are Three to five years of practice/clinical leadership experience or commensurate education in clinical administration, management or related field and experience. Word processing/electronic health records experience. Previous patient service experience required. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and management skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform and influence. Strong time management, technical and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. High school diploma or GED, Bachelor's degree preferred. Additional Job Details Works at our clinic location, Denver Eye Surgeons (13772 Denver West Parkway, Building 55, Suite 100, Lakewood, CO). Travel to other clinical locations for routine site visits This is a Full-Time Position. Compensation for this role will be $75,000 to $96,000 annually based on experience/certification.
