2nd Shift 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Monday - Friday (40 hours)
Base Pay: 17.12 +.15 shift differential
Requirements:
Graduate of Technical School of a mínimum of three (3) years of experience working with numerically controlled (CNC) lathes.
CNC programming.
Read mechanical drawings and knowledge of "Statistical Process Control" (SPC).
Master measuring tools such as: calipers, micrometers for application in enhancing adjustments in equipment and/or machinery.
Possess forklift license, optional.
Responsibilities:
Performs manufacturing operations by making "set-up" on CNC machines ensuring that they are running and producing parts following the established procedures and parameters, determining which machine is the right one for the type of part to be manufactured. Create and/or edit programs verifying that the right tools are used to reduce cycle time.
Provide materials and tools to 2nd. and 3rd. shift personnel. Determine set ups needed for 2nd. and 3rd. shifts, based on production orders.
Responsible for correctly filling in and recording the information of your attendance, daily production, material, parts, scrap statistical data for control charts, hour-by-hour boards, SQDC boards, as applicable and others as required.
Ensures compliance with and carrying out the provisions of the Policies, Procedures and Rules of Occupational Plant Safety, Quality, Environmental, Physical Plant Safety, Finance, and others.
Performs other related duties within the work area, as directed by the Supervisor or designated person.
Note: In our manufacturing work environment, safety glasses, ear protectors and safety shoes are required.
