Collection Specialist - Asp

Position:
Collections Specialist
Summary of responsibilities:
Audit full billing cycle.
Re-submit denied and partially paid invoices.
Analyze and correct rejected cases in the e-claims portal.
Prepare and review weekly routing.
Inactivate paid cases.
Identify patient benefits via telephone.
Document errors and process findings.
Contact medical plans, patients and medical offices.
Assist in monthly accounts receivable analysis.
Meet monthly metrics and work plan.
Research and resolve billing issues.
Provide guidance to team on processes and changes.
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
Continuing Education Certificates in billing or 2 years of billing experience.
2 years billing and claims experience (Specialty Pharmacy preferred).
Basic/intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic billing software skills (CPR+ preferred).
