About the Role The Company is seeking a Commercial Executive Vice President to lead its various commercial activities. The successful candidate will be an energy market expert with a strong background in power marketing, contract origination, and structuring, particularly in the context of energy storage projects. Key responsibilities include developing and aligning the commercial plan with market demand, leading contract origination and structuring for both operational and development-stage projects, and proactively identifying commercial opportunities to support the business plan. The role also involves leading offtake agreement negotiations, collaborating with the market operations team, and presenting strategic recommendations to the leadership team and investment committee.
Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in power commercial negotiations, with a focus on energy storage being highly desirable. A proven track record of at least 2 GW in commercial revenue-related transactions is required. The role demands a deep understanding of market fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. A Bachelor's degree is mandatory, with an MBA or advanced degree being a plus. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office and have strong organizational and time-management skills.
