Duties: The primary objective of this role is to provide Process/Mechanical Engineering support for commissioning advice and startup oversight to facilitate a successful handover of designed facilities that include LNG, LH2, etc. to the Clients. The Commissioning and Start-up Process Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient commission and startup of designed facilities. Write operating manuals for designed facilities based upon engineering designs. Participate in PID review, HAZOPs, and other design reviews as required. Provide commissioning, start-up, operations, and maintenance related inputs during design and engineering. Perform Cold Box and skidded Equipment walk down activities independently or as part of a team and prepare punch lists. Perform P&ID plant walk down activities independently or as part of a team and prepare punch lists. Coordinate and lead operator trainings prior to start-up and after commissioning activities as required. Provide commissioning advice and guidance to ensure that all systems and equipment are installed and tested according to project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and operators, to ensure the successful implementation of startup plans and procedures. Provide startup oversight to ensure the plant is started up safely and that it meets the performance criteria. Prepare lessons learned reports and provide feedback to the Engineering teams. This role will involve extensive travel up to 50% of the time. Requirements: 7+ Years of Startup and Commissioning Experience in LNG, Gas Processing Facilities, Air Separation Units, or other Cryogenic Facilities. Prior commissioning and startup experience in LNG, Gas Processing, Air Separation Unit, or other Cryogenic facilities. Strong knowledge of commissioning, startup, operations, procedures, and best practices. Experience in developing and implementing startup plans, procedures, and checklists. Prior experience in writing plant operating manuals. Proficiency in equipment evaluations, troubleshooting, and performance testing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Experience in using Process Simulation software, such as ASPEN+, HYSYS, Unisim, Pro/II, etc. is a plus. Proficient in the use of computer & software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, etc. Some working knowledge of common engineering practices and Industrial codes including ANSI B31.3 piping code, ASME Section VIII pressure vessel code and other related codes and standards of ANSI, ASME, ASTM, CGA, ALPEMA, API, IEC, NACE, NEC and NFPA. Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills will be essential in this role. Flexibility and willingness to travel will be important aspects of the job. Willingness to spend extended periods of time at client plant sites worldwide. Education: BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
