As a Commodities Trader, you will be responsible for buying and selling commodity products, such as oil, gas, metals, agricultural products, and other raw materials. Your role is crucial in managing market risk and leveraging market opportunities to maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand trends, pricing, and supply and demand dynamics in various commodity markets.Trading Execution: Execute trades efficiently on behalf of the company, ensuring optimal pricing and minimizing transaction costs.Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage market risks, including price volatility, geopolitical events, and economic changes.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, suppliers, and other industry stakeholders to enhance trading opportunities and gather market intelligence.Strategy Development: Formulate and execute trading strategies based on market conditions, historical data, and emerging trends.Compliance: Ensure all trading activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
