Role: Communication Manager (Deployment Analyst) Location: Boston MA, Merrimack NH, Smithfield RI Duration: Full-Time Job Description: A big part of this role is that we are reading, reviewing, and editing the communications of other teams deploying products/services to ensure that the communication is in good order for client-facing associates. We often have to ask probing questions to ensure that the message is clear and/or push back on behalf of the client-facing associate if the team thinks they are ready to communicate but in fact they are not. Many of the communications turn into mini projects, and as you progress on the team, project management skills are also important. An understanding of the business impact of deployments is also important. Influencing to advocate for the client-facing associate is important. It is a unique role.
Skills Needed: Create and support effective communications internally and externallyBuild, develop, and complete plans to deploy strategic, cross-enterprise product and service initiativesEvaluate project impacts to existing RM processes, service models, systems, and toolsIdentify and engage working team members, governance committees, subject matter experts, and other business resourcesCreate engagement strategies for both Managing Directors and clients that may include pilot plans, rollout schedules, and rollout wave calendarsPartner with business units across WI to influence and build customer-focused, effective engagement strategiesConsult on training & communications strategy for the RM organization, including plan sponsor, Advisor/Consultant and participant communications, associate communications, and associate training plansConsult on project business cases and requirementsPerform WI Client Fit Analysis, identify potential variances within the target market segments, plan configuration, and service modelsProvide status updates to executive steering committees, project sponsors, and other key partnersEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree with proven experience in the retirement industry, financial services, defined contribution, and/or benefits administration industry or equivalent experience2+ years of project management and/or management consulting experience a plusEffective written communications experienceNew Product/Service experience within Workplace Investing advantageous to the roleFamiliarity with WI Relationship Management and business partners a plusSkills and Knowledge: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to develop, implement and lead project plansSolid understanding of Fidelity business processes and systemsAbility to partner and establish relationships across multiple functional groups including Sales, Relationship Management, Legal/Compliance, Operations, Marketing, and ProductAbility to navigate the organization to find information and acquire resourcesAdept at operating in a constantly evolving environment with hard deliverablesStrong focus on continuous improvement and improving the team environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, conflict resolution, negotiating, and influencing skillsProfessional demeanor and ability to engage multiple levels of the organizationMicrosoft product suite proficiency
