Overview: Mathnasium is seeking an outgoing and approachable Community Outreach & Event Coordinator who enjoys building relationships and has a passion for education. This role will lead outreach efforts with local schools and organize community events to promote Mathnasium's services, making math more accessible to students. Ideal candidates will be optimistic, energetic, and fluent in both English and Spanish, with experience working in or with schools.
Key Responsibilities:
School Outreach:
Build and maintain relationships with schools, principals, and teachers.
Coordinate school presentations, math nights, and collaborative events.
Serve as the primary liaison between Mathnasium and schools.
Event Coordination:
Organize and execute community events (open houses, math workshops, etc.).
Represent Mathnasium at school fairs, PTA meetings, and other events.
Manage event logistics and ensure alignment with Mathnasium's brand.
Marketing & Community Engagement:
Develop outreach strategies targeting schools and parents.
Foster community connections to increase Mathnasium's visibility.
Monitor and analyze outreach efforts for effectiveness.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in community outreach, education, or event coordination.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships.
Positive attitude and energy, with a solution-oriented approach.
Fluent in Spanish (preferred) and familiar with local school systems.
Passion for education and helping students succeed in math.
