Responsibilities:
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Serving guests at the front desk while providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
Handle all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, internal rules, and standards.
Be knowledgeable about daily hotel operations, check daily event sheets, bulletin boards and be up to date with all changes, new procedures, and events.
Handle all guests' requests and fulfill them as quickly as possible.
Knowledgeable about the hotel and its services.
Knowledgeable about the local area, local events, attractions, sightseeing and cultural events.
Arrange all types of requests for all our customers such as car rental, airline and train tickets, office services, beauty and barber services, babysitter etc.
Arrange special requests, repairs, and shopping, if requested.
Be trained in all guest relations functions to perform them when asked.
Know about PMS - and help during check-in and check-out of guests whenever needed.
Ensure that logbooks, handovers, and checklists are well maintained.
Recognize all repeat guests and VIP's, know about their special requests.
Be knowledgeable about the hotel's frequent visitors programs.
Each team member is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management which the team member can perform.
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the supervisor.
Complete safety training and certifications.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Hospitality oriented
Able to handle difficult situations effectively
Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Bilingual (Spanish / English)
