Construction Estimator | Multifamily

A 50 year old Detroit General Contractor with an excellent reputation among clients and subcontractors is seeking to add a talented Estimator to their team. They work heavily in the Multifamily space with additional projects in the Commercial, Municipal, Hospitality, and Education sectors. Upcoming work includes a $60M, 7 building renovation in Detroit. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Estimating experience at a General Contractor.
Role & Responsibilities Examine and interpret drawings, specifications, proposals, and related documents to develop precise budget proposalsOrganize and manage bidding deadlines, ensuring all requirements are met within the specified timeframes.Generate, submit, and track pre-bid RFIs to clarify project details before finalizing estimates.Prepare bid forms to collect subcontractor proposals.Compare and evaluate subcontractor proposals to determine the most accurate budget projections. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related field 5+ years of Estimating experience at a General Contractor Experience bidding Multifamily work is highly preferred Proficient in Estimating Software On Offer Base Salary of $105-$135k, based on overall experience Health, Dental, Vision3 weeks of PTO to start Annual Bonuses Education Reimbursement
