Company Overview: Our client, a leading regional retailer, is seeking an experienced and innovative Consumer Marketing Director to drive in-store traffic and elevate the brand's presence. This dynamic role requires a strategic thinker with a robust digital marketing background and a passion for delivering results. The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and work closely with a collaborative and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities: Digital Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies across SEO, paid media, and social channels. Oversee and optimize the performance of external full-service agencies to ensure alignment with company goals. Promotional Calendar & Trade Shows: Plan and execute a strategic promotional calendar to drive traffic and sales. Coordinate and manage trade show participation to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. Analytical & Data-Driven Marketing: Utilize data analytics to monitor campaign performance and guide future marketing initiatives. Implement and refine marketing strategies based on insights from consumer behavior and segmentation analysis. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor two marketing direct reports, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. Ensure seamless coordination and communication across the marketing team and other departments. Direct Marketing & Segmentation: Develop and execute direct marketing campaigns, leveraging segmentation to target specific consumer groups effectively. Innovate and bring new marketing ideas to life in the direct-to-consumer retail space. Qualifications: Experience: Proven track record in driving traffic to retail locations through digital and direct marketing strategies. Extensive experience in SEO, paid media, and social channel management. Demonstrated success in planning and executing promotional calendars and trade show participation. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and guide decision-making. Skills: Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Highly collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Creative thinker with the ability to bring innovative marketing ideas to life. Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Work Environment: This position requires in-office presence two days a week at our client's Boston, south location.
