Are you a skilled writer with a passion for communication? This Content Writing internship is perfect for you. As a student at the University of Maryland, you'll have the opportunity to create engaging articles, blog posts, and marketing materials. You'll collaborate with our team to brainstorm ideas, conduct research, and refine your writing abilities.
Please submit a writing sample with your application. Responsibilities: Produce high-quality written content, including marketing materials, website copy, and short articles, to support our communication and marketing strategies. Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and provide valuable insights in your writing. Review and edit your work for clarity, grammar, and consistency to maintain a high standard of written materials. Work closely with the xFoundry@UMD marketing team to brainstorm ideas, plan content calendars, and develop content strategies aligned with our program goals. Assist in creating engaging social media content and captions to promote written materials and engage with our online community. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Currently enrolled as a full-time UMD student pursuing a degree in Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Exceptional writing and grammar skills with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner. A genuine passion for writing and storytelling and a desire to improve your craft continuously. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering error-free content.
