Collaborate and work with a dynamic executive leadership team. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTROLLER Responsible for managing and leading the accounting operations. Guide the accounting department in ensuring all procedures and policies are met. Lead a strong team of four managers to oversee all the daily, monthly and yearly financial accounting and report on the financial status of all entities. Responsible for the cash management, investment accounting, and treasury functions. Service as primary contact for annual audit, oversee grant management and financial reporting and tracking. Analyze financial information detailing fixed and capital assets, liabilities, and expenses. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: BS in Accounting with an advanced degree or CPA desirable. Seeking an accounting professional with at least 5-10 years of governmental accounting experience and 2+ years supervisory experience. Experience in the secondary education field highly preferred Demonstrate strong leadership, problem solver and strategic thinker. Salary range is up to $120k with bonus potential and great benefits.
