Our client is looking for a Controller to lead the team and manage accounting responsibilities for an Environmentally friendly cause.



Responsibilities Oversee all accounting and reporting tasks, ensuring timely month-end and annual closures, while conducting thorough reviews of monthly closing processes to maintain precise records and allocations.
Develop, document, and sustain effective processes to streamline closing and reporting cycles, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Handle audit planning, internal controls, internal audits, and coordinate with external CPAs for tax and audit purposes.
Review monthly results to ensure compliance with financial covenants, and report financials to third parties, such as banks, adhering to requirements.
Ensure company-wide compliance with corporate and accounting policies, develop internal accounting processes, and manage cash balances to optimize returns.
Lead the accounting department, manage the accounting software, train staff on efficient use, and prepare monthly financial statements and related footnotes.
