Controller

Company: Well established Chicago consumer manufacturing firm, strong growth trajectory, known for iconic Chicago products.
Position: Controller, based in Chicago (4 days on-site, 1 remote).
Compensation: $150K+ base + bonus
Experience Required:
10-20 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3+ years in a controllership role.Strong tenure and demonstrated career progression with a proven impact in previous roles. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of 7-10 accountants.Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and accounting process automation.Manage treasury functions, including daily cash management.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of corporate financial statements.Coordinate with IT to implement new accounting technologies.Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.Support senior management in strategic planning and decision-making.
